"Think of a word as a pendulum instead of a fixed entity. A word can sweep by your ear and by its very sound suggest hidden meanings." --Rita Mae Brown

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The amount of literature worthy to have your voice perform it is immense! However, there are a few websites and places I will list below to serve as a guide for you.

Make sure when you look for a script that you search with purpose, meaning that you have an idea of what you are looking for.

Questions to ponder while searching...

  1. What topics are important to me?
  2. What do I like?
  3. Will I be able to relate to this material?
  4. Will this material read well aloud?
  5. Is the material multidimensional?
  6. Is this material universal--will it appeal to a wide range of people?
